Putting first things first means what is important and what is urgent. Which thing needs to be  prioritised 

Usually people don’t know how to put first things first. It’s very difficult for people nowadays in this busy working life to decide whom or what should we prioritise first. Generally people are just stuck when it comes to decide between these two questions-should we give more time to family or just keep doing work and forget about family and friends in order to just earn money and fame.
And they do not realise which things to do first urgent or less important. Usually they end up doing the less important one and waste their time.Can you tell what will you do if you are in this situation?

Urgent and important ( Do ) – important deadlines and crises Quadrant II. Not urgent but important ( Plan ) – long-term development Quadrant III. Urgent but not important ( Delegate ) – distractions with deadlines Quadrant IV. Not urgent and not important ( Eliminate ) – frivolous distractions The order is important: after completing items in quadrant I, people should spend the majority of their time on II, but many people spend too much time in III and IV. The calls to delegate and eliminate are reminders of their relative priority.
